Hodge Hill College has no sixth form. Of the 241 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 25% moved to a sixth form college and 38% to a further education college.

Photography is unusually popular at GCSE: 37% of the year group took it, against 6% of pupils across England.

10% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 45.1 against 46.1 across England and 46.6 in Birmingham, with 40% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
