Of the 275 pupils who finished Year 11 at Holly Lodge High School College of Science in 2023, 43% stayed on in Holly Lodge High School College of Science’s own sixth form (Sandwell average 25%), 44% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 70 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 79% went to university (Sandwell 36%, England 37%), and 42% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 23% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
