What the data says

Grays Convent High School has no sixth form. Of the 124 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 2% moved to a sixth form college, 39% to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 55.7 against 46.1 across England and 45.2 in Thurrock, with 61% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Media Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 37% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

Almost every leaver found a sustained destination: only 0% were not in education, work or training six months on, against 6% nationally.
