Of the 205 pupils who finished Year 11 at Madeley Academy in 2023, 47% stayed on in Madeley Academy’s own sixth form (Telford and Wrekin average 29%), 30% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 129 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 60% went to university (Telford and Wrekin 35%, England 37%), and 14% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 25% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.
