What the data says
Of the 178 pupils who finished Year 11 at Chelsea Academy in 2023, 70% stayed on in Chelsea Academy’s own sixth form (Kensington and Chelsea average 62%), 13% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.
Among the 131 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 73% went to university (Kensington and Chelsea 59%, England 37%), and 34% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Religious Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 91% of the year group took it, against 31% of pupils across England.
GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 51.9 against 46.1 across England and 54.5 in Kensington and Chelsea, with 53% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
