Of the 155 pupils who finished Year 11 at City of London Academy Islington in 2023, 41% stayed on in City of London Academy Islington’s own sixth form (Islington average 39%), 46% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 34 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 65% went to university (Islington 50%, England 37%), and 28% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Religious Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 91% of the year group took it, against 31% of pupils across England.
