Of the 85 pupils who finished Year 11 at Wigmore School in 2023, 1% stayed on in Wigmore School’s own sixth form (Herefordshire, County of average 8%), 36% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 45% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.

Physical Education is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 11% of pupils across England.
