What the data says

Parkside Community College has no sixth form. Of the 114 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 80% moved to a sixth form college, 4% to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 80% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.

Among the 35 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 31% went to university (Cambridgeshire 39%, England 37%), and 44% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 63.5 against 46.1 across England and 48.1 in Cambridgeshire, with 78% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
