What the data says

Of the 331 pupils who finished Year 11 at Bohunt School in 2023, 19% stayed on in Bohunt School’s own sixth form (Hampshire average 6%), 24% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 124 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 60% went to university (Hampshire 35%, England 37%), and 39% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 47% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 56.3 against 46.1 across England and 45.5 in Hampshire, with 68% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
