Of the 171 pupils who finished Year 11 at King's Academy Prospect in 2023, 38% stayed on in King's Academy Prospect’s own sixth form (Reading average 51%), 39% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 54 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 35% went to university (Reading 56%, England 37%), and 4% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were well below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 36.8 against 46.1 across England and 50.2 in Reading, with 29% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
German is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
