Of the 299 pupils who finished Year 11 at George Abbot School in 2023, 70% stayed on in George Abbot School’s own sixth form (Surrey average 29%), 11% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 215 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 63% went to university (Surrey 41%, England 37%), and 41% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 58.2 against 46.1 across England and 50.8 in Surrey, with 69% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
