What the data says

Holbrook Academy has no sixth form. Of the 116 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, none moved to a sixth form college, 25% to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 33% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 41.2 against 46.1 across England and 42.8 in Suffolk, with 34% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Almost every leaver found a sustained destination: only 2% were not in education, work or training six months on, against 6% nationally.
