What the data says

Of the 169 pupils who finished Year 11 at Ranelagh School in 2023, 57% stayed on in Ranelagh School’s own sixth form (Bracknell Forest average 41%), 28% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 108 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 55% went to university (Bracknell Forest 47%, England 37%), and 39% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Religious Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 96% of the year group took it, against 31% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 53.4 against 46.1 across England and 46.9 in Bracknell Forest, with 59% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
