What the data says

Of the 156 pupils who finished Year 11 at Springwest Academy in 2023, 31% stayed on in Springwest Academy’s own sixth form (Hounslow average 60%), 46% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

12% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

Photography is unusually popular at GCSE: 22% of the year group took it, against 6% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 40.4 against 46.1 across England and 49.9 in Hounslow, with 28% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
