Of the 138 pupils who finished Year 11 at Willenhall E-ACT Academy in 2023, 18% stayed on in Willenhall E-ACT Academy’s own sixth form (Walsall average 43%), 58% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

13% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 34.7 against 46.1 across England and 43.0 in Walsall, with 20% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 98% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
