Of the 160 pupils who finished Year 11 at Long Field Spencer Academy in 2023, 28% stayed on in Long Field Spencer Academy’s own sixth form (Leicestershire average 28%), 53% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 30% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 46.1 against 46.1 across England and 46.2 in Leicestershire, with 52% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
