What the data says

Acle Academy has no sixth form. Of the 112 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 27% moved to a sixth form college, 46% to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

Design and Technology is unusually popular at GCSE: 31% of the year group took it, against 11% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 46.9 against 46.1 across England and 45.2 in Norfolk, with 47% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Almost every leaver found a sustained destination: only 2% were not in education, work or training six months on, against 6% nationally.
