Of the 243 pupils who finished Year 11 at Calday Grange Grammar School in 2023, 74% stayed on in Calday Grange Grammar School’s own sixth form (Wirral average 38%), 5% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 218 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 60% went to university (Wirral 39%, England 37%), and 51% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 68.1 against 46.1 across England and 45.3 in Wirral, with 93% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%) — as a selective grammar school, Calday Grange Grammar School admits pupils by test at 11, which drives these figures.
