Of the 123 pupils who finished Year 11 at South Bank University Academy in 2023, 40% stayed on in South Bank University Academy’s own sixth form (Southwark average 58%), 35% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 56 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 63% went to university (Southwark 65%, England 37%), and 7% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 16% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 23% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
