Of the 269 pupils who finished Year 11 at The McAuley Catholic High School in 2023, 59% stayed on in The McAuley Catholic High School’s own sixth form (Doncaster average 29%), 22% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 128 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 55% went to university (Doncaster 28%, England 37%), and 17% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Religious Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 84% of the year group took it, against 31% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 42.5 against 46.1 across England and 44.6 in Doncaster, with 35% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
