Of the 120 pupils who finished Year 11 at Lawrence Sheriff School in 2023, 88% stayed on in Lawrence Sheriff School’s own sixth form (Warwickshire average 43%), 3% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 184 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 79% went to university (Warwickshire 35%, England 37%), and 57% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 75.1 against 46.1 across England and 48.0 in Warwickshire, with 96% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%) — as a selective grammar school, Lawrence Sheriff School admits pupils by test at 11, which drives these figures.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 33% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
