Of the 117 pupils who finished Year 11 at UTC Portsmouth in 2023, 35% stayed on in UTC Portsmouth’s own sixth form (Portsmouth average 3%), 51% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 34% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
Among the 107 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 45% went to university (Portsmouth 19%, England 37%), and 17% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 18% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
