Of the 204 pupils who finished Year 11 at Lees Brook Academy in 2023, 6% stayed on in Lees Brook Academy’s own sixth form (Derby average 28%), 55% went to a further education college and 14% started an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 14% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.

Among the 53 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 0% went to university (Derby 28%, England 37%).

Photography is unusually popular at GCSE: 23% of the year group took it, against 6% of pupils across England.
