Of the 248 pupils who finished Year 11 at Tadcaster Grammar School in 2023, 48% stayed on in Tadcaster Grammar School’s own sixth form (North Yorkshire average 34%), 44% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 120 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 51% went to university (North Yorkshire 42%, England 37%), and 41% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Art and Design is unusually popular at GCSE: 25% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
