Of the 235 pupils who finished Year 11 at The King Alfred School in 2023, 30% stayed on in The King Alfred School’s own sixth form (Somerset average 17%), 46% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 80 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 53% went to university (Somerset 24%, England 37%), and 13% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
