What the data says

Of the 158 pupils who finished Year 11 at Iveshead School in 2023, 24% stayed on in Iveshead School’s own sixth form (Leicestershire average 28%), 60% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 51 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 47% went to university (Leicestershire 40%, England 37%), and 14% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 49% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

A level grades average C-, well below the England average of B-; 8% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Mathematics, Media Studies and English Literature.
