Of the 140 pupils who finished Year 11 at Oaklands School in 2023, 64% stayed on in Oaklands School’s own sixth form (Tower Hamlets average 64%), 19% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 80 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 46% went to university (Tower Hamlets 36%, England 37%), and 23% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 13% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
