What the data says

Of the 156 pupils who finished Year 11 at Yateley School in 2023, 46% stayed on in Yateley School’s own sixth form (Hampshire average 6%), 26% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

Food Preparation and Nutrition is unusually popular at GCSE: 34% of the year group took it, against 8% of pupils across England.

Among the 138 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 47% went to university (Hampshire 35%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 47.8 against 46.1 across England and 45.5 in Hampshire, with 48% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
