Stockport Academy has no sixth form. Of the 176 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 30% moved to a sixth form college, 43% to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

14% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 30% of leavers went to one, roughly twice the England rate of 13%.

Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 22% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.
