Of the 215 pupils who finished Year 11 at Leigh Academy Strood in 2023, 37% stayed on in Leigh Academy Strood’s own sixth form (Medway average 54%), 41% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 77 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 39% went to university (Medway 30%, England 37%), and 7% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 99% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

A level grades average D+, well below the England average of B-; 0% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Biology, History and 3D Design.
