What the data says

Carlton Keighley has no sixth form. Of the 129 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 2% moved to a sixth form college, 57% to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 38.6 against 46.1 across England and 40.8 in Bradford, with 37% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

10% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

Languages are a small part of the curriculum here: entries in Spanish add up to 4% of the year group, and 4% of pupils entered the full EBacc set of subjects (England 41%).
