Of the 145 pupils who finished Year 11 at King Ethelbert School in 2023, 54% stayed on in King Ethelbert School’s own sixth form (Kent average 56%), 32% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

GCSE results in 2025 were well below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 36.8 against 46.1 across England and 46.7 in Kent, with 22% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Art and Design is unusually popular at GCSE: 31% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
