Of the 235 pupils who finished Year 11 at East Barnet School in 2023, 59% stayed on in East Barnet School’s own sixth form (Barnet average 63%), 26% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 163 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 66% went to university (Barnet 55%, England 37%), and 27% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Physics is unusually popular at GCSE: 75% of the year group took it, against 23% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 53.0 against 46.1 across England and 56.7 in Barnet, with 57% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
