What the data says

Of the 185 pupils who finished Year 11 at Overton Grange School in 2023, 49% stayed on in Overton Grange School’s own sixth form (Sutton average 68%), 43% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 107 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 73% went to university (Sutton 72%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Religious Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 94% of the year group took it, against 31% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 46.8 against 46.1 across England and 59.3 in Sutton, with 36% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
