Of the 275 pupils who finished Year 11 at Harris Academy Billericay in 2023, 48% stayed on in Harris Academy Billericay’s own sixth form (Essex average 37%), 39% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 145 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 53% went to university (Essex 35%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 13% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 21% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 50.0 against 46.1 across England and 45.1 in Essex, with 48% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
