Of the 204 pupils who finished Year 11 at University Academy Holbeach in 2023, 50% stayed on in University Academy Holbeach’s own sixth form (Lincolnshire average 40%), 32% went to a further education college and 9% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 130 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 20% went to university (Lincolnshire 39%, England 37%), and 14% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 21% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.

Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 9% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 20% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
