Of the 233 pupils who finished Year 11 at Abbeyfield School in 2023, 30% stayed on in Abbeyfield School’s own sixth form (West Northamptonshire average 42%), 52% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 57 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 74% went to university (West Northamptonshire 37%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

French is unusually popular at GCSE: 68% of the year group took it, against 18% of pupils across England.

11% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.
