What the data says

Of the 113 pupils who finished Year 11 at University Technical College Norfolk in 2023, 50% stayed on in University Technical College Norfolk’s own sixth form (Norfolk average 33%), 27% went to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 61 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 20% went to university (Norfolk 28%, England 37%), and 3% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 26% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.

Computer Science is unusually popular at GCSE: 54% of the year group took it, against 13% of pupils across England.

A level grades average C-, well below the England average of B-. The largest A level subjects are Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
