Of the 45 pupils who finished Year 11 at Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire in 2023, 40% stayed on in Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire’s own sixth form (North Lincolnshire average 4%), 18% went to a further education college and 11% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 22 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 14% went to university (North Lincolnshire 42%, England 37%), and 0% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 50% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 11% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.
