Of the 155 pupils who finished Year 11 at Epping St John's Church of England School in 2023, 40% stayed on in Epping St John's Church of England School’s own sixth form (Essex average 37%), 42% went to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 79 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 47% went to university (Essex 35%, England 37%), and 7% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 15% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
Spanish is unusually popular at GCSE: 48% of the year group took it, against 19% of pupils across England.
