What the data says

Of the 185 pupils who finished Year 11 at Dixons Broadgreen Academy in 2023, 34% stayed on in Dixons Broadgreen Academy’s own sixth form (Liverpool average 46%), 31% went to a further education college and 4% started an apprenticeship.

15% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 34.4 against 46.1 across England and 42.1 in Liverpool, with 21% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 91% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
