Of the 10 pupils who finished Year 11 at Brook Sixth Form and Academy in 2023, 80% stayed on in Brook Sixth Form and Academy’s own sixth form (Barking and Dagenham average 49%), 10% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.
Among the 56 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 64% went to university (Barking and Dagenham 45%, England 37%); 16% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
Most pupils take the three separate sciences: at least 100% sat Biology, Chemistry and Physics as individual GCSEs, compared with about 23% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 38.7 against 46.1 across England and 48.4 in Barking and Dagenham, with 27% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
