Of the 66 pupils who finished Year 11 at The Lakes School in 2023, 32% stayed on in The Lakes School’s own sixth form (Westmorland and Furness average 32%), 55% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.
Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 40% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.
Among the 34 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 41% went to university (Westmorland and Furness 27%, England 37%), and 21% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
