What the data says

Of the 215 pupils who finished Year 11 at JCoSS in 2023, 80% stayed on in JCoSS’ own sixth form (Barnet average 63%) and 11% went to a further education college.

Among the 180 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 67% went to university (Barnet 55%, England 37%), and 46% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 60.9 against 46.1 across England and 56.7 in Barnet, with 77% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 21% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
