What the data says

Gillotts School has no sixth form. Of the 181 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 30% moved to a sixth form college, 13% to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 61.3 against 46.1 across England and 46.4 in Oxfordshire, with 76% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 26% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 30% of leavers went to one, roughly twice the England rate of 13%.
