What the data says

Of the 298 pupils who finished Year 11 at Coundon Court in 2023, 37% stayed on in Coundon Court’s own sixth form (Coventry average 46%), 41% went to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 107 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 62% went to university (Coventry 39%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 13% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 29% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 45.0 against 46.1 across England and 44.0 in Coventry, with 39% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
