Of the 203 pupils who finished Year 11 at Harris Academy Chobham in 2023, 61% stayed on in Harris Academy Chobham’s own sixth form (Newham average 39%) and 13% went to a further education college.
Among the 166 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 61% went to university (Newham 53%, England 37%), and 28% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 27% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 49.5 against 46.1 across England and 51.2 in Newham, with 47% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
