Of the 248 pupils who finished Year 11 at Alsager School in 2023, 43% stayed on in Alsager School’s own sixth form (Cheshire East average 40%), 43% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 134 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 56% went to university (Cheshire East 27%, England 37%), and 25% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 14% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
German is unusually popular at GCSE: 34% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.
