Of the 131 pupils who finished Year 11 at St Thomas Becket Catholic School in 2023, 31% stayed on in St Thomas Becket Catholic School’s own sixth form (West Northamptonshire average 42%), 53% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.

Among the 61 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 70% went to university (West Northamptonshire 37%, England 37%), and 9% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

11% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 38.7 against 46.1 across England and 44.7 in West Northamptonshire, with 32% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
