What the data says

Of the 218 pupils who finished Year 11 at Allerton High School in 2023, 60% stayed on in Allerton High School’s own sixth form (Leeds average 32%), 23% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 192 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 57% went to university (Leeds 35%, England 37%), and 25% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 47% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 54.3 against 46.1 across England and 45.5 in Leeds, with 69% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
